Ninja Warrior for Kids

Global Performance delivers programs designed to teach clients how to understand, appreciate and use their bodies the way they were designed to move.

Ninja Warrior for Kids (NWK) is an alternative to competitive Gymnastics, designed to teach children FUNdamental Movement and Gymnastics skills in a fun, safe and dynamic environment. Run out of Marrara Gymnastics Hall on Sunday mornings, NWK offers access to a fully equipped gymnastics facility, in which the FMS skills can be practiced in a safe and fun manner. This program does have a term fee in order to cover hall hire. Please see the ‘payment’ tab to check out the single and family fee.

By exploring the roots of all movement, we aim to strip down conventional motor patterns to their core in order to introduce the missing links. By rebuilding incorrectly developed motor patterns and preparing supporting structures, participants increase their athleticism and mitigate injuries. This gives kids a chance to learn a ton of movement skills which can be transferred to a variety of sports, and in turn improves flexibility, core stability, strength, stamina, power and speed.

These classes are designed to prepare participants for negotiating obstacles with efficiency and speed. The Dominant Motor Patterns (DMPs) developed in these classes will make your child a physical wizard among mere mortals. These DMPs are transferable to all physical activities, conditioning participants to excel at all sports, and bullet-proofing their bodies so that they remain injury free.

Ninja Warrior for Kids teaches participants how to jump, land, bounce, swing, balance, climb, roll, flip and vault in an age appropriate manner that is engaging and fun. Classes are designed to engage participants in a fun and supportive non – competitive environment. Parent engagement and participation is encouraged!
